How does Insurance work?

You are covered with fully comprehensive insurance, which is included in the price.

How long in advance do I need to book a vehicle?

What are the pick-up times for your vehicles?

Pick up is after 3pm on the day the rental starts and drop off is by 11am on the day the rental ends. Where we can, we try to be flexible with this. We can sometimes add extra time for a half day rental. Please see our terms and conditions for full details.

What extra items are available?

It depends on the season. Please have a look at our bookings page for availability. Outside of this or for more specific bookings, please contact us directly. Should you want a longer term rental, we can arrange these and include a discount.

What documentation do I need for the Insurance?

The price you are quoted includes the Vehicle rental, insurance and all camping gear. You only need to pay for your fuel and food.

Full camping gear is included in your rental. Full details of the Inventory can be found here. Other than that we do have Paddle Boards, GoPros, Firepits, tents etc that we can rent out to you. Details of these can be found here

We will need to see your drivers licence and 2 other forms of Identification. This should be a utility bill and another proof of id such as copy of your phone bill. Should you have any concerns about providing documents, please get in touch

What advice can you give us?

Have fun is our usual answer to this one! If you plan a trip well, including what you are doing in your days, then you'll have a great adventure. If you're someone who likes to make it up as you go and see where you end up, you'll equally have a great time.

How does payment and the deposit work?

Can anyone be covered on the Insurance?

One driver is covered on the Insurance, other drivers can be added for £10 a day. You will need to have been driving for a minimum of 2 years and have no more than 6 points (2 x 3 points) on your licence. You should not have had any driving bans. How old do I have to be?

You need to be between 25 and 75. We can sometimes accept younger or older drivers, although the Insurance excess may be higher. If you are have any specific requests, please get in touch

All our bookings are paid through our secure booking agents. They hold your deposit and will collect payment, including your security deposit. When you collect the vehicle, we will confirm it's condition with you and go through a full handover. At this stage we both take photos to confirm the condition of the vehicle.

When the vehicle is returned it is checked and signed back in. When we are happy that there are no issues, the security deposit is returned to you.

Is there a Mileage limit?

Our vehicles have a limit of 700 miles a week. Shorter bookings are done on a Pro Rata basis

What do we need to bring with us?

All Camping gear is included, just bring your clothes and food (although we recommend stocking up on the way to make sure food stays as fresh as possible).

During the current covid times, we advise you to bring your own bedding or sleeping bags

What condition does the Land Rover have to come back in?

Yes, we really have been asked this question! Our vehicles should be returned in the condition it goes out in. We love our Landies and care for them and know you will too

What if our planned Holiday is cancelled?

Should we need to cancel for any reason, a full refund will be issued. We do recommend you take out appropriate Insurance in case you need to cancel for any reason. Please see the full Terms and Conditions for details of the Cancellation policy
