What we do

Ever dreamt of an Overland adventure in an iconic vehicle?

Defender Campers gives you the chance to experience and enjoy Wild Camping in the heart of the West Country, whilst experiencing the thrill and adventure of exploring in a Land Rover Defender Camper.

Located in the South of Somerset, just a mile from the M5, we are at the gateway to Devon and Cornwall. From here you can explore Dartmoor, Exmoor, Somerset, Dorset, the South coast or South Wales.

Our vehicles are fully prepared to take you anywhere you choose to go, and include all the camping gear you'll need. Just pack your clothes and essentials and get out exploring.

Should you want more than camping gear, we can also offer you Paddle Boards, Firepits, GoPros and much more to make your Camping trip a memory to last a lifetime.

We welcome well behaved dogs!

We are two Professionals who love travelling, exploring and Wild Camping. We have been lucky enough to enjoy spending time in our Defenders getting out and about and enjoying life.

We want others to be able to share our experiences, it's as simple as that. Whether you want to head to Dartmoor for a weekend, Cornwall for a week, or Portugal for a month, we know our vehicles will take you on an awesome adventure that will bring you lasting memories.
